Seat Belts
Had to replace drivers side seatbelt in 2016 at 22567 miles. No cost as under warranty. Had to replace same seatbelt 2019 at 83860. Was charged $277.78 for this. In complaining to fca they said seatbelt should have been under warranty and they may refund my charges. But why did a seatbelt fail twice in 5 years? Seat belt will not engage in the receiver both times

I had my truck at the dealer for a recall, i noticed my seatbelt wasn't locking when i pulled on the shoulder strap. I asked them to look into this when my vehicle was there. They did, said the seatbelt was defective, but chrysler was not going to cover this. After further review none of my seatbelt shoulder straps lock when you pull on them fast.
